Andy started Cali General Construction LLC in 2008, right as the recession hit. He was 25 years old, had a passion for building, and decided to bet on himself. That decision shaped everything about how this company operates today.

Over the past 20 years, we have built a reputation across coastal and inland San Diego County as a contractor who shows up, does the work right, and stands behind it. Our roots are in structural framing and concrete, which means we understand how buildings are put together from the ground up, not just what goes on the surface.

We specialize in ADUs and home additions. These are projects that change how families live. Whether you are adding a unit to generate rental income, creating space for a parent or adult child, or expanding your home to fit a growing family, we know the details that make these projects go smoothly from permit to final inspection.

Our concrete work covers foundations, flatwork, and structural pours. It is the kind of work that does not get much attention when it is done right, and causes serious problems when it is done wrong. We take it seriously because the rest of the structure depends on it.
